VP Supply Corp.

VP Supply Corp, a regional wholesale distributor of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and kitchen & bath supplies, wanted to upgrade their dated corporate office to a modern, user-friendly space. Mitchell Design Build was hired to provide comprehensive integrated design-build services for the project.

The objective was to create a bright, energy-efficient, modern, and functional office space that met the evolving needs of VP Supply Corp while showcasing the high-end and energy-efficient products available through VP’s manufacturers. Given that the building would remain occupied throughout the renovation, the construction process was meticulously staged to minimize disruption to daily operations. Special attention was paid to scheduling the use of dumpsters, cranes, and other heavy equipment to ensure minimal interference both inside and outside the building during regular business hours.

In phase one, we transformed 2,000 square feet of dark, dated office space into a vibrant, dynamic work center, complete with private offices and a high-tech corporate conference room. We introduced new windows to flood the space with natural light and replaced traditional cubicles with four-foot drywall half walls. This redesign not only provided definition but also ensured the work center was bathed in light. The state-of-the-art conference room now boasts statement lighting, a kitchenette, custom smart blinds, and advanced smart screen technology.

Phase two involved the renovation of an additional 3,100 square feet of office space. This once cold and dark area has been reimagined into modern executive offices, workstations for support personnel, and a small conference room. By adding windows, we enhanced natural light throughout the space. The goal was to foster a functional and collaborative environment with a bright, open, and efficient layout.

Dedicated to enhancing privacy and functionality for key departments, phase three focused on 2,400 square feet of existing office space. We created a more private workspace for the HR department and established a separate quadrant for the IT department. This redesign ensured both departments had the necessary space and privacy to operate efficiently.

Renovations to the restrooms in each phase of the project showcase the beauty and functionality of high-end, sustainable, energy-efficient fixtures available from VP Supply Corp.

Interior design elements throughout all three phases included carpet, finishes, and paint selections that reflect VP Supply Corp’s brand colors, subtly unifying the spaces.

Our strategic renovation plan ensured functionality and minimal disruption to VP Supply Corp’s daily operations. Careful scheduling and staging of construction activities ensured a seamless transition through each phase of the renovation, resulting in a transformed office environment that supports VP Supply Corp’s continued growth and success.
