ROCHESTER, N.Y., October 25, 2019 – Mitchell Design Build recently announced the naming of Spencer Read as the new company President. Read was serving as Vice President and Senior Project Manager prior to taking on this new role, a transition that had been in process for over five years.

Since joining the company in 2005, Read has spearheaded major projects within the company’s portfolio, most notably the creation of the Van Bortel Subaru car dealership in Henrietta and the relocation of Rochester Midland Corporation. His various responsibilities have included site and building design, building code compliance prep work, estimating, scheduling, and project and construction management. Under his direction and supervision, these and other projects were completed on time and under budget.

Mitchell Design Build also announced that Brad Humberstone, previously Project Architect with LaBella Associates, will assume a new role on the Executive Team as Director of Architecture. Humberstone’s position aims to grow and manage design work at Mitchell Design Build while working closely with current staff members to achieve continued controlled growth.
