The Van Bortel auto group, a leader in the automotive industry, recently expanded their brands to include Van Bortel Chevy in Macedon, NY and enlisted Mitchell Design Build to upgrade their facility.
The existing dealership that Van Bortel acquired was in need of an overall update as well as a new façade to meet the General Motors requirements. The project included removing the entire existing building façade, asbestos removal and gutting and renovating the entire existing building. Mitchell’s design build approach allowed the project to keep moving despite the project experiencing some unforeseen conditions with the existing building all while ultimately bringing the project in under budget.
